With preserving long-term college affordability and quality as top priorities for TCNJ, I am charging the Budget and Finance Planning Council with a campus-wide cost-containment, revenue diversification, and efficiency initiative. Drawing from relevant data, input from campus stakeholders and best practices from other higher education institutions, the council will identify cost containment, identify new revenue streams, and yield tangible savings to ensure continued affordability to TCNJ students while safeguarding quality.
In this spirit, the Budget & Finance Planning Council (BFPC) is asking all members of the TCNJ community to give cost containment and revenue enhancement suggestions. Please submit your suggestions directly through the Qualtrics link provided below. BFPC will review your ideas and reach out to you for information or clarification if needed. You may submit your suggestions anonymously, but if so please understand that we will not be able to follow up personally.
The BFPC will analyze suggestions utilizing the following terms: feasibility of the suggestion, potential dollar impact, and time frame for implementation. Suggestions worth pursuing will be routed to the Cabinet for assignment and will be entered into a drawing to win a monetary award (e.g. $100 Amazon or TCNJ Bookstore Barnes and Noble gift card). All suggestions that lead to tangible savings will be recognized by the Board of Trustees and President Foster.
